The greatest country on earth

I know a lot of you probably think I have mostly negative thoughts about our country.  Most of my emails rail against our President and the people in power for trampling on our rights.

But I do this because I feel its necessary to fight tyranny and protect our rights as citizens.  Unlike some of our fellow countrymen who complain about America incessantly and seem to despise our history, culture, and economic system, I truly love this country.

I believe we live in the greatest country on Earth and the greatest country that has ever existed.  We face a tough battle in protecting the Constitution, but the fact that this document exists is a testament to the greatness of the United States of America.

This battle we engage in is not easy, but is worthy and winnable. We WILL prevail my friends.

So on this 4^th of July weekend, I ask you set aside your frustration, anger, and resentment for our political leaders.  Please remember your love for this country, for the sacrifice of so many to protect it, and for fact that we were lucky enough to be born in a place where freedom is valued above all else.
