Best Encrypted Messaging Tool

As soon as I saw this free review and ranking of encrypted messaging programs, I wanted to get it to you as quickly as possible.

And because I want you to take a few minutes to check it out, I’m going to keep my message here short and to the point.

The review, “Privacy Tools: The Best Encrypted Messaging Programs,” is by ProPublica. It’s a brand new ranking of popular encrypted messaging programs and it identifies the ones that are most effective at protecting users’ privacy.

By the way, ProPublica is an excellent investigative journalism organization and the folks involved in investigative journalism are serious about encryption when messaging protected sources and fellow journalists with information they don’t want the government obtaining.

Additionally, I know the skills and abilities of the two reviewers – Joseph Bonneau and Peter Eckersley – and they are both top shelf.

Finally, even if you’re not specifically interested in using an encrypted messaging program, it’s still worth reading the review as you will learn some of the nuts and bolts that go into a secure messaging program.

OK, if nothing else, bookmark the piece and save it for when you might have the need or desire to protect the privacy of your Internet-based messages.
