Happy ‘Independence Day’ Weekend, I you’re like  me I don’t feel very Independent from Big Government these days.

The Department of Homeland Security is reportedly purchasing 1.6 Billion rounds of ammunition.

That is enough to fight the Iraq war for 23 years!

And these are “hollow point” bullets, the kind that do maximum damage upon impact.

What in the world does the DHS (a domestic agency) need with all these bullets?
